Condo Downtown

I am currently sitting in Kyle & Rachels apartment. They are not here. Listening to Drake's Say Something. Thinking. Drinking an Old Style. I hate getting stupid emails from emusic, reason for the mention is that I just got one. I'm considering actually doing a comic beyond its idea but we will see if that happens.

Life is kind of boring as of lately. Being labeled as a hipster lately is also kind of annoying. I'm just trying to life my boring life now that my job is not as fun... correction active as of lately. I guess I just need to invest more time in it. Work on the website and get it back up and running again. I miss being out because of it though. Driving around the city. It was actually fun at times. I should just do that more since higher ups have asked me to do store check ups lately. It just doesnt seem that fun but what do I know until I try it.

Saving up for camera stuff. AKA a new one, still the Olympus EP-1 and some photobooth type lighting and rigs so I can get that started and start taking peoples pictures. Hopefully will have that all accomplished/owned and ready for summer. Can't wait till that comes. Really just cant wait till the 21st when its DePaul's spring break and the official first day of spring. That should at least be heart warming.

Need To Get My Shit Together,
Eric.

Oscar gets Wild!

Yes, the Oscars just happened. No real surprises in anything there. If you were surprised by someones win then you probably have been living under some sort of large earthy type object such as a rock or The Rock.

I must say though the reason for this post was the only enjoyable and noticeable thing about them this year, the comedy. From Ben Stiller's "Avatar" to the easily jabbable, jabable?, career of Alec Baldwin. One of the best things though about this years Oscars was the shout out to horror films. The montage was soo enjoyable and although not encompassing of all great horror films there were some shockingly awesome snippets in there one wouldn't always expect to see. Like Twilight. New Moon? I get them confused. The best little snippet and mention of the whole experience is how so many "big name" actors have started out or done their own horror film spot and it range so deep to why I like the genre. That and seeing this mans handsome face pop up if just for a sec.

Yes that is the Matthew Mcconaughey in Texas Chainsaw Massacre The Next Generation...with rene zellwhatever.

I'll leave you to soak in that sexy beast!
